Pray for the cure of the COVID-19 – Bishop Kalumba

Rt. Rev. Valentine Kalumba, OMI, has asked the people of Livingstone to pray for the eradication of the Corona Virus Disease. “Let’s keep praying that scientists find a cure of the Corana Virus Disease”.

Celebrating his first ever public Mass at the Cathedral of St. Theresa’s since Easter, the Bishop expressed his delight to meet his vibrant congregation. “It feels good to see you after a long time. You know during Holy Week it was all empty in the Church”.

As well as calling on the people to keep praying, the Bishop equally implored the congregation to adhere to the quality health practices put in place by the government for the control of the spread of the COVID-19. “Sanitize, wash your hands with soap. Also don’t forget to register your contacts in the register. This is done for contact tracing in case one of us gets infected by the corona virus”.

Bishop Kalumba was the main celebrant as the Holy Mass, to mark the celebration of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday.
