Bishop

Rt. Rev. Valentine Kalumba, OMI.

Rt. Rev. Valentine Kalumba was appointed by Pope Francis as Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Livingstone on 18th June 2016. Before his appointment, Kalumba worked as Parish Priest at Blessed Mary Theresa parish in Kabwe and the Vicar of the Delegation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in Zambia.

His Episcopal Consecration was on Saturday, 3rd September 2016 at Maramba Parish (Christ the King) – Libuyu Compound, Livingstone, Zambia. His Predecessor was Rt. Rev. Bishop Raymond Mpezele who took care of the Diocese from 1985 to 2016.
