Bishop Kalumba appoints body of advisors

The Rt. Rev. Valentine Kalumba, OMI., Bishop of Livingstone, has on Friday, 24th May, 2024, appointed the following priests to form the college of consultors, for a five-years period:

  1. Very Rev. Fr. Clifford W. Mulasikwanda – Vicar General and Diocesan Secretary,
  2. Fr. John D. Rurangwa – Pastoral Coordinator,
  3. Fr. Kebby Luwaya – Parish Priest, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Musokotwane,
  4. Fr. Imasiku Ngalama – Parish Priest, St. Peter the Apostle Parish, Airport,
  5. Fr. Daniel Naji, Cssp – Resident Priest, Maria Regina Parish, Linda, and
  6. Fr. Claude Lumamba – Liturgical Coordinator.

The college of consultors is a body constituted by the Bishop to advise him on Diocesan administrative issues.

In making the appointment, the Diocesan Bishop emphasised that the voice of the consultors was basically an advisory one.
