Radio Musi-O-Tunya was founded in 2006, when the broadcast license was given by Ministry of Information and Communications then. The ground work to establish a radio station in the Diocese of Livingstone commenced in 2004. Radio Musi-O-Tunya is situated in Southern Province of Zambia.

We broadcast from 06:00 hours to 24:00 hours. We cover 100 Km radius with approximately 300, 000 people listenership. We have wider coverage; Livingstone, Kazungula, Zimba, Kalomo districts and some parts of Sesheke and Choma districts.

As radio we broadcast in English, Lozi and Tonga according to the pastoral policy of the Diocese of Livingstone. The radio is spearheaded by Community volunteers and few employees.

The radio is being sustained through advertising, programmes, announcements, project proposal writing and of late through fundraising and agriculture.

Our vision: we offered a platform for integral evangelization, freedom of expression and information dissemination to the people of Livingstone and the surrounding areas.

Our mission: we empower people with quality broadcasting in the areas of social economical, spiritual and political for sustainable development in Livingstone and the surrounding areas.
