Bishop Kalumba Creates Sioma Deanery
Bishop Valentine Kalumba, OMI, has created a new Deanery in the Western Side of Livingstone Diocese called Sioma Deanery. It has been made delinking three parishes: Lusu, Sioma and Shangombo, from the current Sesheke Deanery. This has been done for pastoral exigency.
Meanwhile, the Bishop, has appointed Fr. Richard Chanda,OMI as the Dean of Sioma Deanery. In another development, Bishop Kalumba has appointed Fr. Claude Lumamba, Parish Priest of St. Kizito’s Parish, Sesheke, as the Dean of Sesheke Deanery.
This came to light during the Celebration of the Holy Chrism Mass offered by the His Lordship Valentine Kalumba, on Thursday 22nd March 2018, at St. Theresa’s Cathedral in Livingstone.
