Oblates land in Livingstone

Three Oblates of Mary Immaculate clergy: Fr. Barnabas Simatende, Fr. Kennedy Sampa and Deacon Bright Kachigamba Phiri have arrived in the Diocese to take Pastoral Responsiblity of the yet-to- be created St. Paul Catholic Parish of Ngwenya in Livingstone City.

The three were unveiled to the public by Bishop Valentine Kalumba, OMI, during the Celebration of the Holy Chrism Mass held in Livingstone, at St. Theresa’s Cathedral on 22nd March, 2018. The Catholic Diocese of Livingstone welcomes the Oblates to Livingstone. This is the second Oblate-run Parish in Livingstone, after St. Leopold’s in Shangombo.
