Saturday 16th June, 2018, was a great day for the Youths of Livingstone, when they held a Pilgrimage from Livingstone’s  Mukuni Park to the Diocesan Marian Shrine in Maramba, Livingstone. Hundreds of the youths turned up to pray and sing spiritual uplifting songs.

Addressing the pilgrims at the Mass held at the Marian Shrine, Fr. John Damascene Rurangwa, the Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, encouraged the youth to be proud of their faith and defend the Church.  The Clergyman stated that “many times Catholics have been shaken by other churches saying that we pray idols and we fail to give proper answers”. He also called upon the youths to appreciate nature,  by looking at the Marian Shrine environment, where different kinds of trees provide a serene  atmosphere. He implored the young ones to be an inspiration to one another, and not to indulge themselves in immoral activities.
