Women Present Cheque to the Bishop

Women’s Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Livingstone presented seminarian fund cheque of ZMK 216,570.00 (US $ 19,668.18)  to the Bishop of Livingstone on Saturday 8th December 2018, at St. Francis’ Catholic Church in Livingstone. The money was handed-over to the Local Ordinary at the end of the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Rt. Rev. Valentine Kalumba, OMI. 

Addressing the faithful that witnessed the ceremony, the Bishop of Livingstone encouraged the women for their tireless efforts of helping the seminarians through the initiative. He equally called on the menfolk to come on board to support this exercise.

Every year, the women in the diocese carryout the fundraising activities to mobilize funds for the support of diocesan seminarians.
