Rt. Rev.  Valentine Kalumba, OMI, Bishop of Livingstone, congratulated the people of Livingstone for taking time to take care of the Patients at Livingstone Central Hospital (LCH). The Bishop noted that it was important to take care of the Sick, both at the Hospital and in homes. He said this in a speech delivered on his behalf by Fr. Daniel Naji, CSSp, Livingtone Deanery Dean, in Livingstone, on Sunday,11th February 2018.

In another development, Fr. John Damascene Rurangwa, Livingstone Diocese Hospital Chaplain, implored the Parishioners, gathered at LCH, to not only take care of the Sick, but the whole humanity at large.

This year’s World Day of the Sick was commemorated under the theme: “Behold, your son… Behold, your mother. And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.” (Jn 19:26-27). In interpreting this theme, the Catholics of Livingstone Diocese, shared food items and cleaning materials at the LCH. Moreover, various Choirs entertained and soothed the Patients with religious music.
